Pear Tree Cottage must be one of the most picturesque holiday cottages on the South Downs with idyllic countryside practically on its doorstep.

Cosy and atmospheric, with exposed original timbers, this cottage makes a perfect romantic retreat or a fine base for a family getaway.  Think walks on the hills, hearty food and local ales in the nearby country pubs, or nights in relaxing and planning adventures

There are three bedrooms upstairs to sleep up to six – with two double rooms and one twin bedroom plus two bathrooms – a family bathroom on the first floor with a bath and shower over, plus a spacious shower room on the ground floor.

There is an Inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove in the lounge (bring some logs), so you can enjoy a winter break or holiday throughout the year.

The separate dining room leads into the well-equipped kitchen, with all the facilities you’d hope for – a big range cooker, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and plates and cutlery galore.

Enjoy the afternoon sun on the terrace with a table and chairs.

Dogs are considered so talk to us about your pet.
