The Royal Oak & Castle Inn was originally built as a private house, but in 1854 it was given a licence soon after the railways cam. In 1877 the pub changed its name to 'The Royal Oak & Castle Inn'. The perfect place to relax after taking in Pevensey's attractions, only a step away from Pevensey Castle. The pub hosts a wide variety of social events including: book clubs, games nights, yoga themed menu evenings and so much more. Pub also includes children's play area.
