Poster with a photo of Lady Patricia Latham of Herstmonceux, and historian and expert Prof. Steven Bednarski

About

This is a rare opportunity to meet and hear from the world's foremost historian and expert on the history of Herstmonceux Castle and Estate, Professor Steven Bednarski, who has travelled here all the way from Ontario, Canada. As part of the research into his next book, "Reconstruction: The Life and Times of Sir Herbert Paul Latham of Herstmonceux Castle", Professor Bednarski has been digging into the Castle's past and in doing so, has unearthed some fascinating insights into the extraordinary life of Lady Patricia Latham - also known simply as Patsy.

Please join Prof. Bednarski as he leads us through a careful examination of archival and photographic evidence to weave a lively tale of the Lathams’ world. An absolute "must" for anyone who interested in the history of the Castle.
