Thimbles Bed & Breakfast is in Heathfield, East Sussex and is a pretty country home set in a 6-acre garden. Although on a quiet rural road, Thimbles is only 1 mile from the nearest town with all the usual amenities and only 20 minutes away from the South Downs National park and other towns; with the coast just a short ride away too. East Sussex has some beautiful countryside to explore and has great historical sites to visit such as Pevensey Castle.
Thimbles has its own orchard where the chickens live, a large kitchen garden where most fruit and veg is grown and a large lake leading over to an island. There is a circular lavender garden in the main area of the garden too.
During your stay Thimbles offers a full English breakfast, and make their own bread, use their own hen eggs and also make and provide the honey, marmalades, and jams.
Suppers can be arranged in advance and these can be eaten at the family dining table or outside in the garden.
