Springle

Springle is a brand-new springtime event for Wealden – we’re inviting our communities to come together through performance, creativity and shared local experiences.

Taking place across two weekends, it opens on Saturday 18^th April with Springle Hailsham: a striking outdoor spectacle taking place on the High Street. Come along to experience Lampadophores – a joyful procession created by French street theatre company Picto Facto – featuring giant inflatable puppets, live music and acrobatic performers. The town centre will be transformed into a playful, immersive celebration for people of all ages to enjoy.

It will continue on Saturday 25^th April with Springle Uckfield: a free daytime celebration designed especially for families and the community at Luxford Field. Enjoy walkabout performances, storytelling and hands-on activities in a relaxed outdoor setting. Everyone (including you!) is also invited to take part in a craft-making workshop and joyful parade.
