About

As part of the Heritage Open Days festival, the Seven Sisters Country Park will be hosting a Military Heritage Talk and Tour on the 16th and 18th September.

Join local historian Ian Everest for a leisurely walk between Exceat and the sea. Expect to find out about an innovative Home Guard Officer, a wartime deception initiative, why fishing boats had to be wary of rifle fire - and a fine set of Dragon’s Molars!

The walk will last between 1.5 - 2 hours and be about 2 miles in length.

Please wear appropriate shoes for walking in the countryside and bring waterproofs / wear a hat for the weather.
