About

Gallery North's spring show ‘Vanishing Place’ opens on the 28th March and features artwork from over 40 established and emerging artists from Sussex and beyond.

This reflective exhibition of painting, drawing, photography, print-making, textiles, ceramics and sculpture celebrates the beauty of our precious lands, seas, spaces and habitats – both urban and wild. It explores our connection to place and pays homage to the fragility of natural spaces and the disappearance of our changing environment and habitats – both man-made and natural.

Open from the 28th March to the 9th May: Tues & Weds 10am to 1pm and Thurs to Sat 10am – 4pm. The gallery is open to all and there will be a children's art activity sheet and opportunities for them to create art inspired by the work on display.

Free entry, donations welcomed.
