Riverdale House is situated in a peaceful, rural location with breath taking views of The Cuckmere Valley south of Alfriston village in East Sussex and just nine minutes’ walk by pathway to the South Downs Way. The High Street of this historic village offers excellent teashops, restaurants, pubs and shops and Alfriston is ideally situated to explore the Sussex coast.

The guest lounge has a refrigerator to chill and store food and drinks, and breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking the gardens. There are several seating areas in the garden to relax and enjoy the views.   Guest Rooms feature homemade biscuits, ground coffee, tea, Horlicks, hot chocolate, fresh chilled milk, Egyptian cotton sheets.    

Children are always welcome and we have toys, books board games, DVDs etc.  There is adequate off road parking and free Wi-Fi.

The Cuckmere, a spacious room overlooking the Cuckmere Valley with a choice of six foot double or twin bedded, en suite bathroom and shower, relax and also enjoy watching the sun rise @ £110

The Rathfinny room with five foot double bed, en suite with shower @ £90 overlooking our garden and fields.

The Garden room double bedded and en suite shower @ £90 with French windows leading to our garden.

The Litlington at the top of our house with private shower and en suite, we can present as a triple single bedded room or six foot double bed with extra bed @ £110 overlooking the Cuckmere valley.
