Katharine Jennings is a creative coffee house and art studio, offering a place for connection, creative expression, meet-ups, family visits or simply a takeaway coffee.

Creative open studio sessions are available in the coffee house six days a week and include pottery painting, canvas painting, watercolour painting, clay sculpting, mosaics and more. The space can also be hired for creative events for all ages, from children’s parties to book launches.

The KJFA Academy offers weekly classes led by a team of expert tutors, including fully qualified secondary-level art teachers. Sessions are available for ages 5–11 (Little Leonardos Art Club) and 12–16 (Leonardos Saturday Art Club), alongside holiday clubs for ages 5–11 and an art summer school for ages 12–16.

Adults can take part in the academy’s signature Classical Art Course, which follows a similar syllabus to the art schools of Florence. There are also monthly clubs in hand-building pottery and fused glass, as well as a weekly calligraphy class and regular stained glass and vision board workshops.

The team are experienced and qualified in teaching and creating art in many forms. The coffee house is open to everyone – whether creative or not – with a creative menu available for anyone who feels inspired to make something during their visit.
