The Worth Halt vintage diesel train at Lavender Line Isfield Station

About

The Lavender Line and Riley’s Minature Railway are opening their doors for their next public open day on Sunday 22nd February. Entirely operated by volunteers throughout, both railways are located at the beautifully restored Isfield Station.

Riley’s Miniature Railway will be open from 10:00 - 16:00 running from Platform 2 with rides costing £1.00 per person per ride, or an All Day Rover ticket for just £4 (cash and card payments accepted).

The Lavender Line will be running passenger services on the heritage railway alongside, using one of their heritage diesels. Their first service will leave Isfield Station at 11:00 operating a half-hourly service, with the last train at 15:30. Trains travel north to Worth Halt before returning covering a two mile round trip.

Explore Isfield Station and the Grade II listed Signal Box, and enjoy lunch Lavender’s tea room, located in the old station building, and browse the waiting room gift shop.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome on site and on the trains – providing they don’t sit on the seats!

No need to book, just turn up on the day where tickets for the Lavender Line train are available from the gift shop.
