About

Nutley Windmill, which stands in the beautiful setting of Ashdown Forest, is the last open trestle post mill in Sussex and the only operational one in the country.

The mill is over 300 years old but only bought to its current site in 1835.

Come along to one of our open days and speak to one of our volunteers about the mill, it's recent restoration and it's history.

Entry is free, but donations greatly appreciated to help us preserve this listed building.
