Looking out towards the landscape of Ashdown Forest in the summer

About

The story begins at Ashdown Forest itself – the original inspiration for the Hundred Acre Wood. Among its environmentally and cultural significant heathland, everyone is invited to explore, discover and step into a new tale inspired by this extraordinary landscape and its wildlife.

Across the opening weekend, enjoy performances, workshops and activities, while taking part in the Explorer Day experience. Collect stamps and badges through nature-based challenges to become an official Ashdown Explorer – and keep an eye out for the Forest’s newest inhabitant: a giant mythical puppet creature inspired by Ashdown’s rare species and habitats.

Join us for The Big One Hundred: a brand-new programme inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Ashdown Forest, to celebrate 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh. Created in partnership with Ashdown Forest and award-winning creatives Trigger, the programme combines nature with storytelling and performance through a series of exciting events taking place across Wealden throughout the summer.
